Thank you for your visit to Raphael’s Furniture Restoration. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my clients for the restoration work they trusted me with over the years and all those who found us on the internet.
   We have new additions to the “Restorations” section. See photos of the repair to a large pier mirror that fell off the wall. A pair of capitols where we reproduced many missing pieces, gold leafed them and matched the gold patina and  a Victorian bust of Moses that was damaged during a burglary. Featuring restoration photos of a 1000 year old Tibetan statue that was damaged in a move.

    In the “Tips & care for Antiques & Furniture” section, we have new additions where we discuses how to remove water marks and wax from your furniture. If your afraid you may have wood worm, we discuss treatments here.

   Please visit our new section “Antique & Vintage Hardware For Sale” We have a large selection of antique and vintage hardware for sale. For over 50 years we have been collecting hardware that we use when restoring antiques. Many original Danersk Furniture hardware available. We now offer this hardware to our clients. Do you have a desired piece in your home that is missing a handle, plate, bail, escutcheon, caster or any part that you cannot find in your hardware store. You may be able to find it here. We also offer reproduction hardware for those items that are imposable to find.

   Coming soon, a new section on our website, dedicated to Danersk and Erskin and Danforth Furniture. Years ago my father was a foreman there and after the company dissolved, we acquired there archive of furniture blueprint, stock numbers, photos, advertising, prices, construction and finishing information. I have been contacted over the years by clients who want to know more about their Danersk pieces.
