Hello and Happy New Year from Raphael’s Furniture Restoration. I would like to thank my client’s for the work they trusted me with over the year and those of you who found us on the web.

    Raphael’s Furniture Restoration can handle your furniture, repair, restoration and finishing needs. We specialize in the restoration of antique furniture. We handle stripping and refinishing. Our stripping process is performed by hand, not a stripping tank. We also offer French Polishing, Lacquer, Touch-up, Papier-mache, Gold Leaf and Frame restoration. We clean antique hardware by removing dirt and shellac, and then carefully highlight the brass to retain the original patina.

    Last month we closed our booth at the Antique & Artisan Center. We moved our inventory to our shop and we are currently setting up a showroom. The items in our show room will be posted in our “Antiques for Sale” section. We are restoring and will sell containers of antique furniture & frames that we have been acquiring for many years. As we have them completed we will post them on our web site.

    Coming soon will be a new section on our web site,  dedicated to Danerk or Erskin and Danforth Furniture. My father was Forman there for years and after the company was dissolved my father acquired there archive of furniture blueprint, stock numbers, photos, advertising, prices, construction and finishing information. I have been contacted many times over the years by people who want to know more about there Danersk pieces and found me on the web. This will be the only place on the web to find this information.
