This is a great piece of Americana. A Civil War map used by the eastern army. It shows 150 Miles around Richmond. There is an inscription on the bottom left hand corner that says " Picked up on the battlefield May 18th 1864, by Hearvy F. Seals. You can see how the used map was folded and tucked away in a pocket. |
